My husband Mike is in Utah for a few days visiting his brothers. He went by Grandpa and Grandma's new place. He says Grandpa looks great and that his brother Glen couldn't even tell that Grandpa had had a stroke. Mike says that Grandpa seems to be in good spirits. Grandpa shared a story with Mike that I thought you would all enjoy hearing.
Grandpa was in the bathroom doing something and a nurse came into the room and started talking to Grandma. Grandpa says that he heard Grandma say twice, very loud and very clear "I love Jim!" Grandpa of course was very touched by this and started to tear up telling Mike this sweet story. He says it just made his heart soar.
