  2. I thought about you so much yesterday, Grandpa. I went to a parade where hundreds and hundreds of veterans marched throughout the town while people stood, saluted them and the flags. Thank you for your courage. We love you!!

  3. Dear Grandpa,
I am so grateful to you for being so willing to fight for the freedom of our country. I can't begin to imagine how hard it was to leave your family and sweetheart to fight in the war. I am grateful Heavenly Father was watching over you so you could come home and lead an amazing life. Thank you for your example of faith and courage. I hope I can be like you.
    love,
    Laura and family

  4. WOW - Thank you, Thank you, Thank you! I love you. My heart goes out to what a wonderful woman was Grandma Jim. She had all four of the boys serving and her one other son was working as a civilian at Pearl Harbor, HI when it was bombed. I can imagine her praying constantly. Camden sometimes says he would like to go military. As a mother I would have such mixed feelings - worry and pride. Grandma was very blessed to have all 5 of her sons come home to her! God bless the mothers of our servicemen with peace and comfort!
